Economy, border, social issues, foreign policy, dems have been in charge and there is really nothing they’ve made better. Then there’s the corruption, lying and obfuscation, wishing or ‘feeling’ things are ok doesn’t make them so!

Consequential thinking is a hallmark of good policy, good governance and it's what the Rep Party used to do when they worked on legislature, now it's all about obstruction. Yes, Dems strive for consequential thinking, sometimes there's more than meets the eye and our govt would do better if the Rep's stepped off that obstructionist high horse and actually participated. They used to have good ideas and that made this country better but those ideas are MIA.

“Consequential thinking”? Is that what you think your side does on every issue?

Jimgles, thing is when you post a photoshopped pic it goes to Mr. Coffee's point that in order to make your argument you have to fabricate things.

Reality is that the insurrectionists have never shown a dime's worth of consequential thinking.

Just saying: if this guy is who we'd be fighting against, I'm not worried:

Remember he shot is own eye out.

I also don't think any of the right-wing dingbats who talk about "civil war" have any comprehension of what that would mean. And when the reality finally dawned on them they would have an extremely short period of time to contemplate their discovery.

Jim Wright:

'Last time Republicans were in charge you couldn't buy toilet paper, there were so many dead we had to use reefer trucks as morgues, unemployment was double digits, businesses were failing in record numbers, and Trump was on Twitter telling you to put light bulbs up your butt and drink horse dewormer.
For four years, they promised legislation on everything from Infrastructure to healthcare and delivered exactly squat. Nothing. Not one single piece of significant legislation in any form.
They created nothing, and destroyed plenty.
And it ended in riot, sedition, and violence.
But, somehow, now, the new GOP House says they're going to "get America back on track."
And the first thing they're going to do is ... investigate Hunter Biden?
Yep.
Same old Tea Party. Same old MAGAs. Same old, same old.
The GOP has become the revenge party. They have no plan. No ideas. And no will to make anything better, not even for themselves. Their only motivation is childish grievance for imagined slights. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, so help me god. Spite, revenge, and vindictive meanness for the sake of meanness.
What Musk is doing to Twitter is the perfect metaphor for the modern Republican Party and America. They'll burn the whole country down and take us all with them, just to make sure no one else gets a voice, equality, or the least bit of joy.
It's the political ideology of petulant children.'

I didn’t get it written quite right. Of course one photo won’t give a precise location.

I was trying to relay what my buddy - who did 30 years of building and launching satellites - told me:
“That one photo showed how detailed of a look we could have, where we were looking, where the orbital location of the sat had to’ve been when the shot was taken and gave up likely clues as to where else we could look….”

It’s not completely benign info.

No, you can't derive the orbit of a satellite from a satellite photo. You probably can from multiple photos and precise time stamps. But it would take a lot of photos and a fair amount of math to do that.

Besides, there are already databases of all satellites in orbit, their precise orbits, and who owns and operates them. So that information isn't exactly secret.

Ho hum…..another day of Sleeze in the rep. party…..

Jesse Benton, former campaign director for both Ron and Rand Paul and for Mitch McConnell, has been convicted of facilitating an illegal contribution from a Russian operative to the tRump campaign in 2016.
https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/18/politics ... index.html

Benton isn’t a newbie at this. He was previously found guilty of falsifying reports to the Federal Election Commission, given probation, then pardoned by president tubby in 2020.

Oh, and Putin IS getting his moneys worth! Turns out guilty donnie, that pathetic imbecile, had tweeted out classified satellite photos; ones which can give our enemies not only an idea of our imaging capabilities, but where said satellites are located.

More treason shows up everyday! but…..nuthin’ to see here folks, business as usual….just keep movin on….

no need for any “pointless” investigations, is there?
