In this article it states Dementia Joe considering for second term maybe the dems can run Walter the ventriloquist puppet instead, not much difference in looks but with Walter he only hides in a suitcase.

Once Trump announced his candidacy and now that it looks like Biden might also run for a 2nd term, the DoJ faced incoming charges of acting as an influencer in '24 so Garland took the step to keep the 2 cases out of the political spectrum by appointing a Hague prosecutor with a record of integrity. Both cases are ripe for the final stages of decision making of whether to go to the grand jury so this appears to be a wise move.
