2 more studies have come out about long covid, bottom line...reinfection is a real problem and masks are still a necessary part of avoiding being infected.

Long term is so complex I keep thinking that they'll never get an effective treatment so yes, not getting Covid in the first place all the more important.

Yeah, I know three people who all have gone through it, to the point they couldn't go to work. But I'll give credit to the two of them who got COVID in March or April of 2020: hearing about what they went through made me determined not to get COVID, and so far I'm clean.

Also interesting and unexplored. SARS and MERS, both closely related diseases, had long-term effects similar to long COVID.
