This storm is reminesent of 96/97 to a lesser degree, if we get a couple consecutive years like this could be a buyers market for houses as there will be a lot of folks bailing out of the area if they get stuck for a week without being g able to get out

I am sure everyone knows to stay away from the burn scars those days. The woods they be poppin' burned or otherwise. Gee, how exciting.
This may be our base if the cold will keep it.

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM SUNDAY TO 10 AM PST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations below 3000
feet will see between 6 and 12 inches. Above 3000 feet will see
accumulations between 10 to 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35
mph.

* WHERE...Kettle Falls, Badger Mountain Road, Loup Loup Pass,
Sherman Pass, Methow, Okanogan, Twisp, Chewelah, Waterville,
Boulder Creek Road, Wauconda, Chesaw Road, Brewster, Newport,
Disautel Pass, Omak, Winthrop, Flowery Trail Road, Republic,
Springdale-Hunters Road, Colville, Northport, Bridgeport, Deer
Park, Orin-Rice Road, Nespelem, Oroville, Mansfield, Mazama,
Conconully, Inchelium, and Highway 20 Wauconda Summit.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Sunday to 10 AM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
could be very difficult.
