The sheer volume of lawsuits is breathtaking

Post by Rideback »

Yesterday's ruling by a Fed'l judge that more John Eastman texts must be released to the J6 committee because they demonstrate that Trump knew he had lost the election and not only promoted specific lies but that he signed affadavits for both state and Fed'l lawsuits after being warned specifically that the numbers were inaccurate is a smoking gun for the prosecutor in Georgia's case.

But now the sheer volume of lawsuits that are pending and nearing determination is mind numbing.
Carroll's defamation case where Trump had to sit for depositions Wed
A judge's denial on Wed to assign a new judge in the NYAG case
The police officers' lawsuit against Trump gains momentum - this case will benefit from the Eastman emails
Eric Swallwell together with other members of Congress, their lawsuit goes forward against Trump for his role J6 - this case will benefit from the Eastman emails
Bob Woodward's tape releases demonstrate Trump's state of mind about national security when he allowed Bob Woodward access to a classified doc but said, 'don't tell anyone I let you read it'.
The investigation into how Trump parlayed the use of his hotels to the Sec Service, which despite Eric Trump saying they would only charge the SS $50 a night, the organization charged over $1,100 a night for rooms which is 5x the amount the SS is allowed to pay.

Like George Conway commented last night, 'Trump is going to have the mother of all meltdowns' over these cases and since it's likely that there's more to come shortly, either from the Mar a Lago boxes or another trove of emails, or even from Trump's own mouth like he did this week by defaming Carroll once again we're all going to be forced through this embarassment.
