All the hamburger is accounted for! Some other folks also joined in donating most of the meat to the Cove... What a great and generous community we live in...

Well sure Ray. It’s been a while since we donated an animal to the cove. We usually get a local rancher to donate one or two beef a year to the cove and the Kiwanis or the Covenant church comes and processes it and it’s all donated . But haven’t had anything on the last few months so they are likely out of meat.
There’s still a few folks in this valley that need a little help and the Cove is such a Godsend to have here to help them.

I’ll pencil this 100 pounds in for you.

We are turning a nice big angus grass fed beef into hamburger this week. We thought we had a buyer but turns out we don’t. So we need to sell this whole 500 pounds of local grown grass fed beef real,soon since we have no freezer space left. We are selling it for $3.25/ pound. You might check and will find it’s 4.50 at the markets. We have one stipulation and that’s you buy a minimum of 50 pounds.
Looks like we will learn to get money in hand before we pull the trigger. . Our mistake, your gain. He’s hanging in the cooler but we will have him in bags before thanksgiving
