Sarah Schrock has stepped down as head of board and now is on the FOP advisory committee. Blue says it's because Sarah got a full time job at the Forest Service.
The FOP board is headed by co-chairs Blue Brady and Bo Thrasher. Both ladies have a vested interest in their husbands commercial guiding operations in the North Cascades.
Bo is married to Paul Butler who owns half of NCH the heli-ski corperation and he is part owner of NCMG ( North Cascade Mountain guides) who do guided BC ski tours. Many of those same guides also guide heli-skiing.
Blue is married to Larry Goldie who is founding owner of NCMG guides and also guides heli-skiing. NCMG also guides rock climbing, offers Avalanche training and have in the past guided ski trips to Japan, and Haute route in Europe.
These "jet setters" are the folks that want control of our tax dollars to build their luxury Big MAC.
Doesn't a swim in a heated pool, then a luxery soak in a hot tub after a hard day on the slopes sound good?
