Camera unit deployed outside. Coming later: solar panel and mounting bracket kit.

Oh, and we have an app that shows the real-time status of all cameras:

You can also get text notifications of fire detections near your home.

Are you a local dealer for this company?

Quote;

"General] What is the most significant fire event that FireScout was able to detect earlier than 911?
The Sacramento River Fire on August 4, 2021 was detected in under 1 minute right from the very first visible puff of smoke, and 1 minute earlier than reported 911 calls. “

So that system "found" the fire around the same time people eyes and noses detected the fire and called 911. Assuming a minute or more to find the phone and call 911, people using their brain may have been faster.

That will work so very well during smoky periods, or at night when people are asleep.

Wildfire Detectors: Coming Soon

Post by mister_coffee »

We'll have limited availability of camera-based wildfire detectors in the coming months.

Base station + 1 Camera is $500/year. Additional cameras (up to four per base station) are $150/year.

This includes a web app that shows real-time detection status and text message notifications when a fire is detected near your home.

These detectors are networked and cooperate with nearby detectors to provide high reliability and a very low level of false positives.

We're looking for homes with substantial fire risk and situations where five or more homes close to each other are all committed to purchase these.

Pictures coming soon!
