There is some speculation (and I'll admit it is speculation) that the January 6th case against TFG and the documents case against TFG might be related and might even become the same case.

Let’s suppose the Guardsman had been black, or Jewish or a gay woman.
What do you suppose mgt’s response would have been?

Further, I think this is a not very clever attempt to excuse the crime this young man committed because it might end up being EXACTLY what guilty donnie gets charged with - especially, now that it appears he was also showing classified documents to third parties. If this guy can be a hero….then so must donnie dumba$$, right?
