Yes, been to Thriftway, I only shop sale items and there's more of them now as they are trying to 'sale' their way out of their gouging. They are perfect example of how inflation was more of a corporate abuse than we've seen in the past.

Inflation has been brought under control, price gouging distributors and retailers have been caught by the Biden admin, egg prices are down again (after the bird flu killed thousands and drove up the prices) gas prices are down again, real estate is dropping, car prices are dropping. The inflation sucks, but the stock market is going well... S&P 500 at all time highs... Employment ooportunities are good... It's all a matter of the definition of "economy".
Seems like the lower-middle income folks are being left behind.

And this is why bread is over $3.00 per loaf, for the cheap stuff, eggs over $7.00, milk over $4.50 per gal, and we won't even discuss cars and trucks, the price of gas or prescription drugs. Yea the economy is doing so good under Biden.
